Natural disasters and accidents cannot be controlled by humans and can happen at any time. It is therefore important to respect nature and avoid building in sensitive areas of our planet. Indeed, some places have been devastated by floods or repeated earthquakes. In the time of our ancestors, it was very difficult to analyse the right places to live. Scientific knowledge and tools were not as developed as they are today. As a result, some cities were completely abandoned due to numerous incidents.
